Discussion on how to gain muscle your opinion? ( weightlifting and nutrition)?
What is the true answer to gaining muscle? I have and you have probably heard many people talk about creatine, protein shakes and other supplements that "supposedly" help you gain muscle.
Then again… if it does work is it even safe to take??
I myself have not yet found the true answer yet and I have heard people say many different things. Some say, yes, take this and it will help you get stronger and gain more muscle. A freind i know claims that he got stronger and gained more weight from using musclemilk once a day and cytogainer once a day. Maybe you dont need these supplements and it could all big one big scam to get you to buy their products. You could probably eat natural foods in place of that shake which fills you up and that shake could be a nutrtional loss right there….. who knows…
I have done research, asked people who supposedly know about this stuff and yet the answer is hidden. Is it safe? does it work? I have gotten yes’s and no’s

As long as you’re buying a decent product extra protein doesn’t hurt (Look up the brand before buying it and check out reviews posted by people who use it to see which ingredients are in it). You don’t have to take it but it does help in many ways, since protein is the building block of muscles. You can also eat a lot of fish, chicken and other lean meats to get protein though so it depends if you would rather eat those or have a shake. (kind of like if you rather eating 18oranges or taking 2 Vitamin C pills) Personaly I prefer to take whey protein after a work out so that makes sure that at the end of the day I have covered my needed protein intake and I can vary my diet.
if you buy whey protein from a place like gnc it is healthy to take and it gains muscle.
dude, if you’re that insecure with yourself (studies showed that people who work-outs are insecure) just take STEROIDS, the one they use for horses, that, for sure, will build your muscle and make you stronger, plus a bonus that it will make your balls shrink…Ain’t that cool???
well, I am only 14 so i might not know much, but if you have ever tries the protein shakes they are nasty! I couldn’t get it down if my life depended on it!…… I am a vegetarian as well, and I get my protein through different nuts and vegetables. You see i play a sport i get my protein and the only supplement i take is a multi-vitamin daily! My thought on it is that it might have some type of steroid in it…or hormone to help you gain muscle witch is artificial and degrading to your body. I feel that the ppl who drink it everyday are addicted to it and there body’s can’t do without b/c it can’t function on it’s own anymore….well i hope this makes sense and helps…I am real big on health and would love to know if you find out anything!
